Perdue looking for advice on offshore drilling, wind energy
Gov. Beverly Perdue, who in the past had had expressed reservations about offshore drilling, on Monday created a scientific panel to advise her on whether North Carolina should permit exploration for oil, natural gas, wind and other energy sources off its coast.
